SPRING SHOW: “SEASONS”
VineArts invites creatives of all ages and skill levels to submit creative work about seasons - literal or metaphorical. It could be a beautiful photograph of the Sawtooths in the fall or a tree blossoming in spring. Maybe it’s a painted portrait of an elderly woman in the “winter” of her life. Or maybe you want to explore the spiritual seasons you’ve been through using pottery, quilting, poetry or a short story. Whatever “seasons” brings to mind, we’d love to see it!

Kingdom creatives group
Wednesday nights starting January 24
Kingdom Creatives is a group for creative women of all skill levels to connect with each other, with different forms of creativity, and most importantly, with Jesus. This session, we'll be studying verses about creativity in the Bible and then responding creatively to what we learn.
When: Wednesdays @ 6:30-8pm in the VA Studio (room 7, Vineyard Boise)
Session 1: Wed Jan. 24 - March 13
Session 2: Wed April 10 - May 29
Who: Creative-minded adult WOMEN* (all skill levels welcome)
Cost: FREE. No need to register.
Bring: a Bible & a journal. Sketchbooks welcome too!
*Note this group is for adult women this quarter. If that doesn't suit you, you can check out other classes here.
Writer’s Group
We are a critique group who will talk about anything books related, or really anything. Questions are always welcome. We’re here to help each other be successful in a kind and encouraging atmosphere.
If someone has something they want critiqued, bring ten pages, 2500-3000 words or less to read. Not everyone will have work to read or that much and that’s okay. Bring copies of your work, maybe five or six copies, double-spaced. This makes it easier to give suggestions and feedback.
We give verbal feedback after the reading, but also pass the copies back to the author with written suggestions and smiley faces.
We have several poets ready to give feedback on poetry.
All skill levels and genre's are welcome.
When: Sundays 2-4pm starting Jan. 28

calling all Performing artists!
Performing artists of all ages, skill, and mediums are invited to an informational meeting to hear about performance opportunities for our fall show. Whether you have an idea for a solo piece or want to participate in one of our group pieces, there's a place for you! Rehearsals will take place throughout the summer, so this group will become a great place of connection.
When: Sunday, June 23 @ 11:30am
Where: room 7 (VA Studio) at Vineyard Boise
Who: Men and women of all ages and skills levels interested in contributing their talents or learning new ones. Performing arts include instruments, singing, movement, film, spoken word, acting, etc.
