Summer 2018 “Create Days”

We’re looking at 2 “Create Days” this summer:

  • Sat. June 30: Noon until 4pm (Fabric art and tie dye) –Bring shirts or canvas shoes to paint on! Or just come and do whatever kind of art you like. 🙂
  • Sat. July 28: Drop in from 4pm to 7pm  (Jay Robertson leading alcohol inks on tile, and Sheila doing ink with string)

We are also pondering a weeknight Create Night in August, if we find some volunteers who will host it… so we’ll keep you posted!

Open Studio will resume on September 8, 2018. Our 2018-19 Open Studio will run every Saturday from Sept. 8 through May 18, 2019. (Closed during major holiday weeks and for inclement weather.)

What is Open Studio?

VineArts has a beautiful art studio, and we want you to come and play!

At Open Studio, you can explore media and techniques in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Open Studio is not a class. (To see workshops and art classes, click here.)  Rather, Open Studio is a free environment in which you can create and experiment, either on your own or with others. Use our art studio’s supplies, or bring your own supplies. Banish fear and perfectionism (only God is perfect!). Instead, relax, and have fun exploring art. No artistic experience required… Open Studio is for absolute beginners, budding creatives, emerging artists, experienced artists, and everyone in between! We provide free coffee and ambient music while you read or make art. Suggested donation per visit: $2 (optional).

Address: 4902 W Chinden Blvd. in Garden City, Idaho. We’re directly on Chinden Blvd at 49th Street.
