LIMITED DATES for Open Studio this spring! We will only be open on March 7, 14, and 21 in Auditorium 2 inside the main church building. We will be closed in April and May in order to move into our new location inside the church. (If we are able to re-open in May, we will update this announcement!)
ANNOUNCEMENT: Our art studio was severely damaged by water in a snowstorm 3 years ago, and we need to relocate our studio this spring. (Subscribe to our emails on vineartsboise.org for updates.)
On dates we are open, you’re invited to drop in and work on art projects in a peaceful atmosphere of creativity, friendship and encouragement. We provide free basic art supplies and a work area for you to create in, or you can bring your own art projects and supplies.

In Open Studio, you can explore media and techniques in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Open Studio is not a class. (To see workshops and art classes, click here.) Rather, Open Studio is unstructured time for you to to enjoy relaxing and creating. No artistic experience is necessary! This is not an art class run by an instructor, it’s just free time to make whatever you want. Wander in for some free coffee and do some reading, journaling, sketching, painting, collaging, or whatever medium you’d like to try. Use our art supplies or bring your own. We have a large library of art technique books you can read for guidance while you’re here. People are free to exchange ideas, tips, and techniques with each other as they experiment and create. The atmosphere is ripe with creativity!
NOTE: Children under 14 MUST have a parent in the studio with them at all times. Children under age 11 MUST sit alongside a parent under constant supervision. Our goal is to create a peaceful, quiet environment for all who enter.
We have an assortment of brushes, papers, and finishing tools. Bring a canvas or buy one here at a bargain.
