VineArts has a beautiful art studio, and we want you to come and play!
In Open Studio, you can explore media and techniques in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Open Studio is not a class. (To see workshops and art classes, click here.) Rather, Open Studio is unstructured time for you to to enjoy relaxing and creating. No artistic experience is necessary! This is not an art class run by an instructor, it’s just free time to make whatever you want. Wander in for some free coffee and do some reading, journaling, sketching, painting, collaging, or whatever medium you’d like to try. Use our art supplies or bring your own. We have a large library of art technique books you can read for guidance while you’re here. People are free to exchange ideas, tips, and techniques with each other as they experiment and create. The atmosphere is ripe with creativity!
We suggest a donation of $2 per session so that we can replenish the studio’s art supplies. However, if you can’t afford to donate, please come anyway. If you CAN afford to contribute more, it will help us provide supplies for those who can’t contribute. Thank you!
NOTE: Children under 14 MUST have a parent in the studio with them at all times. Children under age 11 MUST sit alongside a parent under constant supervision. Our goal is to create a peaceful, quiet environment for all who enter.
Address: 4902 W Chinden Blvd. in Garden City, Idaho. We’re directly on Chinden Blvd at 49th Street.
We have an assortment of brushes, papers, and finishing tools. Bring a canvas or buy one here at a bargain.
